Preferred Qualifications:
Hold a valid teaching certificate and a Master’s Degree in one of the following:
Speech Pathologist
Special Education
School Psychology
Psychological Examiner
The BSS should demonstrate knowledge and skill in the following:
Applied Behavior Analysis
Functional Assessment of Behavior and the development of behavior intervention plans
Autism Spectrum Disorders
Special Education Laws, Regulations, and Procedures
Current Technology
Instruction and Professional Development to large and small groups
The Early Childhood Program is looking for: Speech Language Pathologist- Candidate must hold current license in Arkansas. Be part of a multidisciplinary team with public school benefits. Responsibilities include administering assessments and providing direct instruction to children ages 3 through 5 years old. PRN Occupational Therapist- Candidate must have hold current licensure in Arkansas. Duties would include evaluating preschool children for sensory and motor impairments, implementing programs to enhance/increase the child’s functional independence through the use of age appropriate activities and collaborate with all disciplines to plan goals for each child.
