Behavior Support Specialist



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid teaching certificate and a Master’s Degree in one of the following:

  • Speech Pathologist

  • Special Education

  • School Psychology

  • Psychological Examiner

  • The BSS should demonstrate knowledge and skill in the following:

  • Applied Behavior Analysis

  • Functional Assessment of Behavior and the development of behavior intervention plans  

  • Autism Spectrum Disorders

  • Special Education Laws, Regulations, and Procedures

  • Current Technology

  • Instruction and Professional Development to large and small groups

  • Must display excellent people skills.


Contract Length:  200 DAYS


Salary:  Negotiable

Transition Specialist

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·      Hold a valid teaching certificate with an emphasis in Special Education or a related field.

·      At least 3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.

·      Experience and training in transition program.

·      Demonstrate knowledge and skills in the following areas:

Ø  Transition services

Ø  Assistive and current technology

Ø  Career and Technical Education

Ø  Special Education laws, regulations, and procedure

Ø  Coaching and training adult learners

Ø  Presentations to large and small groups

Ø  Be able to access and promote best practices from national and state agencies

·      Must display excellent people skills.

 

Contract Length:  220 DAYS

The Early Childhood Program is looking for: 

Speech Language Pathologist-
  Candidate must hold current license in Arkansas.  Be part of a multidisciplinary team with public school benefits.  Responsibilities include administering assessments and providing direct instruction to children ages 3 through 5 years old.

PRN Occupational Therapist-
  Candidate must have hold current licensure in Arkansas.  Duties would include evaluating preschool children for sensory and motor impairments, implementing programs to enhance/increase the child’s functional independence through the use of age appropriate activities and collaborate with all disciplines to plan goals for each child.
