Desc Participants in this workshop will explore the CCSS standards to develop a working knowledge of literacy expectations. This workshop is designed for teachers from Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental, and Physical Science. Conversations will include, but will, also, move beyond "how to read textbooks," to examining primary sources, secondary sources, on-line resources, and be provided tools to assist students in citing resources and determining readability. Teachers are encouraged to bring any content literacy resources currently used in class. - Lunch will be provided
